Renters must be 21 years of age or older and possess either a Virginia Boaters Safety Card or an equivalent from another state. In lieu of the card, a prospective renter must complete an online Virginia DWR Safety Checklist prior to the boat rental, gooutdoorsvirginia.com.

All renters must at all times comply with all rules and regulations concerning boater safety in effect at the time of the rental. Please note that the Renter, the Boater Safety Card, and the credit card holder must all be the same person.

Rental pricing varies by boat. A non-refundable deposit equal to half of the daily rental rate is required at the time the reservation is made, which will be applied toward the rental fee for the boat.
